Maaveeran is a political action thriller film written and directed by Madonne Ashwin and produced by Arun Viswa. The film stars an ensemble cast featuring Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar in the lead roles, while Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Sunil, Saritha and Monisha Blessy in supporting roles. Maaveeran was scheduled to release on 11 August 2023, but was preponed to 14 July 2023 in order to avoid clash between Jailer and received positive reviews from critics.
